Beaten And Tied Up At The Car Park — The Mafia Boss Saves Her, Then Makes Him Regret

PART 2: Everyone in Atlanta knew his name, even if decent people pretended they did not. He ran shipping routes, nightclubs, private security contracts, warehouses near the port, and half the invisible machinery that kept the city’s underground economy breathing. The business pages called him a real estate investor. Police sources called him untouchable. Men like Kier called him a criminal when cameras were nearby and avoided saying his name when they were not.

Onyx did not call out.

He did not ask what happened.

He did not rush her.

He walked toward her slowly, one hand visible, the other reaching into his coat.

Daya flinched when the knife appeared.

He saw it.

He stopped immediately.

The pause was small, but she felt it.

He crouched several feet away from her, close enough for her to see his face, far enough that she could still breathe.

“I’m not going to hurt you,” he said.

His voice was low. Controlled. Not soft exactly, but careful.

Daya stared at him.

She wanted to believe him because believing anything else would break her.

He held up the knife. Folded blade. Small. Precise.

“I’m going to cut the ties. Then I’m going to take the tape off slowly. Nod if you understand.”

Her throat worked behind the duct tape.
