The Korean Mafia Boss Hadn’t Let Anyone Touch Him in 11 Years—Then One Nurse Placed Her Hand on the Scar Everyone Else Feared

"Part 2
The guns appeared so quickly that I heard three safeties click before I fully understood what had happened.
Jae did not turn around.
“Lower them,” he said.
No one moved.
His voice sharpened by a single degree.
“Now.”
The weapons disappeared beneath their jackets.
I kept my hand near the infected scar.
“Does touching it hurt?”
“Yes.”
“Then why didn’t you say anything?”
“Pain is information.”
I cleaned the wound while the room remained perfectly still.
Beneath the damaged tissue, my fingertips found something hard.
Not bone.
Metal.
I reached for sterile forceps.
Jae’s shoulders tensed.
“There’s an object inside the scar.”
The older guard stepped closer.
“That’s impossible.”
“No,” I said.
“It has probably been there for eleven years.”
Jae looked over his shoulder.
“Remove it.”
I widened the opening carefully and extracted a tiny black capsule no larger than a grain of rice.
A red light blinked once.
Then twice.
The younger guard went pale.
“A tracker.”
Jae took the capsule from my gloved palm.
His expression became colder than the March sky beyond the window.
“Who knew about the scars?”
“Only family,” the older guard answered.
“And the surgeon who treated you in Seoul.”
The capsule suddenly emitted a faint electronic tone.
Every phone in the room lost service.
Then the hospital lights flickered.
Jae buttoned his shirt despite the unfinished dressing.
“Grace, leave.”
“I’m not done.”
“This is no longer medical.”
The frosted door exploded inward before he could finish.
Two masked men entered with suppressed weapons.
Jae pulled me behind him.
His bodyguards returned fire.
Glass shattered.
The younger guard fell against the wall, blood spreading across his sleeve.
I grabbed the emergency cart and slammed it into one attacker’s knees.
Jae disarmed the other with brutal precision.
Within seconds, both intruders were on the floor.
The older guard tore away one mask.
His face changed.
Jae stared down at the unconscious man.
“You know him?”
The guard swallowed.
“He was part of your father’s security team.”
Jae looked at the tracker in his hand.
Then at me.
Before anyone could speak, my hospital badge vibrated.
A hidden message appeared across its screen.
HELLO, GRACE.
THANK YOU FOR TOUCHING HIM.
Jae read it over my shoulder.
His eyes lifted slowly.
“Your badge is transmitting my location.”
May you like
Then a photograph appeared.
It showed my mother standing beside the man who had scarred him eleven years ago.
