The Mafia Boss Thought His Chubby Wife Couldn’t Cook Until His Entire Empire Rose and Called Her Mama Rose

Part 2: Rose never confronted anyone.

Her grandfather had also taught her that people revealed themselves through the way they treated someone who did not fight back.

So she watched.

She learned.

And she waited.

The opportunity came on a rainy Thursday night.

At 11:17 p.m., headlights swept across Rose’s bedroom ceiling as four armored SUVs entered the estate.

She heard car doors slam and hurried footsteps below.

Vincent was away in Philadelphia negotiating a business dispute. Vivian had retired early. The professional kitchen staff had left hours ago.

Unable to sleep, Rose walked downstairs for tea.

Near the service corridor, she heard men speaking quietly.

“The kitchen’s locked.”

“There might be sandwiches in the garage refrigerator.”

“Those were gone yesterday.”

“I could eat the leather off my shoes.”

Rose rounded the corner.
